A week and a half ago I purchased a pair of specialized sport mtb shoes,

407285 001 Jordan Pro Strong Black Ftwr Gunmetal Dark Charcoal(17), the outsole on the bottom is disintegrating. Large chunks of it are missing and the lugs have tons of little divots taken out of them. The comp shoe has the same outsole on the bottom, so I imagine it has a similar problem.
I owned an older pair of comps for 4 years (pre BOA),

These shoes look like they have been through hell and back with big chunks of the outsole missing. These shoes are not up to the task of walking at all. If you have trails with frequent rocky sections that require unclipping from time to time,
