I don like wearing them often as I don want them getting scuffed. A few weeks ago, i noticed that the soles had completely worn to the point where there was a hole in both shoes. I wore them about twice a week for roughly 3 months. I really upset because I never spend that much money on shoes. Does anyone know if I have any rights to complain and seek a refund/return?If you have done this with wear and tear (and you may be heavy footed on delicate shoes, particularly if they are leather soles so please be honest with yourself, shopkeepers know this stuff they seen all sorts of returns) You got nothing to stand on.

If they are leather soled shoes and you feel that perhaps it may have been you, or you just really like the shoes, you better off going to a cobbler (shoe repairer) and having them replaced. $50 and they will be brand new again.

Also, Italian leather shoes for $230 is cheap etc where on earth did you get them, Aquila? or on sale? If they were on sale I don like your chances of being refunded/return.

Source: worked in high end retail for several years while studyingI not heavy footed. I a size 7 or 8 depending on the shoe and I quite small framed. I had very similar styles in the past and they have lasted a lot longer than 4 months. I don generally buy expensive shoes so $230 is quite a lot of money for me (Im a commerce student)

I went back there a few weeks ago and they said I should have been warned to get them re soled by the sales assistant. I wasn If I had known this i would have done so to prolong the shoe. Now I left out of pocket and I cant re sole the shoe as the hole is too difficult to mend.
