That sounds exactly like Shane when he first started walking. He would take a few steps, fall to the floor and start screaming.

What we did for those first few months was use crocs. They are sooo lightweight he did really well in them. It was a trial and error thing until we found them. The robeeze never fit right because he has really fat feet.

He is also 18, almost 19 months now. He walks fine now in any type of shoe. He just had to evolve into a better walker. He started walking in Feb at 12 months, it wasnt until 2 months ago that he was able to walk in any shoe, so about 4 5 months after he STARTED walking before he was able to use regular shoes.

Try some crocs first, but in a few months as he gains skill in walking, he will be able to walk better in the shoes. LO’s problem was he had a hard time walking in the shoes and that made him frustrated.
