Drew Barrymore is turning heads for a $25 dress she recently wore on the red carpet. The event was the Nylon and Express Denim Issue Party at The London Hotel in West Hollywood, where Barrymore showed she could be stylish while not spending a lot of money for her look.
According to Yahoo! News, Barrymore got the dress from an Austin, Texas thrift store. The dress has a sort of 60 psychedelic vibe to it, and Yahoo Ariel Kaiser praised Barrymore stylish look which is pictured here. Not bad for $25 right?
Before we get too carried away though, Drew Barrymore was wearing $760 shoes along with that dress. Technically her outfit was under a grand, depending on if she had on expensive jewelry or had her hair styled professionally. Still, many women could match her look now and buy similar or better looking shoes that don have the near $800 price tag.
It great to see a Hollywood celebrity wearing something (dress, not the shoes) that the average female can afford. Most celebs step out in specially designed dresses, gowns and other outfits, or they photographed shopping on Rodeo Drive. Barrymore $25 dress gives inspiration to those who shop at thrift stores and on a budget. Why flaunt her wealth when she can still look good for $25 (minus the shoes)?
